Sunday the 5th of May, 2019 saw us return to the amazing Cloudland venue in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. This time it was the wedding of Emma and Daniel!
Our lovely couple started the day off getting ready at the stylish Peppers FV
Kicking off with our groom Daniel and his groomsmen, we were treated to an amusing, yet not uncommon situation of no one knowing how to tie a proper bowtie. After consulting Youtube all was well and the boys were sorted ready for some cheers and well wishing shots. Then to the ladies where the beautiful bride Emma was in the final stages of her hair and makeup.
Lead photographer for the day was Melissa from Pelizzari Photography, an amazing photographer who captured Emma and the bridesmaids to perfection with both candid and set up shots.
As you can see in the video Emma looked amazing in her gown, once she was ready it was time to head off to Cloudland for the ceremony.
The semi-outdoor balcony ceremony area was styled beautifully with a flower wall that had everyone talking about. The celebrant was the ever popular James McLauchlan who officiated the ceremony with his usual laid back yet professional style.
The guests were treated to a love story that ended with Emma and Daniel pronounced Husband and Wife and down the aisle they went with well wishes from all attending.
Time for a quick congrats from family and friends then it was off to the photo shoot, with a few photos at Cloudland then Ubers to the Botanic Gardens in the city where the happy couple were greeted by their fur babies (dogs) for a quick shot.
A few more photos and a swig of Dom Perignon - if you don't mind! Then back to Cloudland for the reception.
The stunning reception area was a fitting spectacle for these two newlyweds. Greeted with tunes by DJ Andrew Pizzino the night was set for a party to remember.
The evening began with heartfelt and amusing stories of the lovely couple with many speeches in between the meal courses.
After that it was time for the cake cutting and dances. First it was father daughter then an emotional first dance from the newlyweds followed by just about everyone attending joining in making this start of a new chapter for Emma and Dan a memorable one.
